योग महाविद्यालयातील विद्यार्थ्यांना राज्यस्तरीय योगासन स्पर्धेमध्ये सुवर्ण पदक

 

बारामती येथील योग महाविद्यालय मधील विद्यार्थी बिस्मिल्ला  शेख व रोहित चव्हाण यांना महाराष्ट्र योगासन स्पोर्ट्स असोसिएशन संलग्नित तसेच भारतीय केंद्रीय युवक व क्रीडा मंत्रालय, बृहन महाराष्ट्र योग परिषद, महाराष्ट्र ऑलिम्पिक असोसिएशन व क्रीडा परिषद महाराष्ट्र शासन मान्यताप्राप्त 6 व्या महाराष्ट्र राज्यस्तरीय योगासन स्पर्धेमध्ये अनुक्रमे  लेग बॅलेन्स व शयनस्थितीतील योगासन  प्रकारामध्ये प्रथम क्रमांकाने सुवर्णपदक पटकाविले. यामुळे पुढे होणाऱ्या राष्ट्रीय स्पर्धेसाठी निवड झाली आहे. रोहित चव्हाण हे योगशास्त्रामध्ये पदव्युत्तर शिक्षण घेत असून बिस्मिल्ला शेख या योग प्रमाणीकरण मंडळाचे प्रशिक्षण घेत  आहेत. या पूर्वीही त्यांनी अनेक स्पर्धांमध्ये पदके पटकावली आहेत. सदर स्पर्धेसाठी त्यांना योग महाविद्यालय बारामतीचे संचालक डॉ. निलेश महाजन, डॉ. सौ.भक्ती महाजन, प्रो. प्राजक्ता देशपांडे  यांचे मार्गदर्शन लाभले.

Yoga College students win gold medals in state-level yoga competition

Bismilla Sheikh and Rohit Chavan, students of Yoga College in Baramati, won gold medals in the 6th Maharashtra State-level Yoga Competition affiliated to Maharashtra Yoga Sports Association and recognized by the Union Ministry of Youth and Sports of India, Brihan Maharashtra Yoga Parishad, Maharashtra Olympic Association and Sports Council Maharashtra Government, respectively, in the leg balance and supine yoga categories. Due to this, they have been selected for the upcoming national competition. Rohit Chavan is pursuing a postgraduate degree in yoga science and Bismilla Sheikh is undergoing training for Yoga Level 1 of the Yoga Certification Board. They has won medals in many competitions before this. For this competition, they received guidance from Dr. Nilesh Mahajan, Director of Yoga College Baramati, Dr. Mrs. Bhakti Mahajan, Prof. Prajakta Deshpande.
